Charter Night!

Posted on October 28, 2011 by rotaract9800

Rotaract Club of Monash University (Caulfield) has just been chartered on Monday night and is the first Rotaract club in Victoria to be a registered Student Union Club.

Having held it’s Charter Night on the Monash University Caulfield campus, Rotarians and Rotaractors alike joined in the celebrations. This included the likes of District 9800 Governor Keith Ryall, District 9800 Rotaract Representative Grant Godino, and representatives from various Rotary and Rotaract clubs throughout the region.

It was a night filled with fun, laughter and music, which was performed by the Monash Jazz Orchestra.

The club is eager to hit the ground running and has already participated in and created events of its own, such as the Murrumbeena Community Market (in conjunction with its sponsor club The Rotary Club of Caulfield) & BBQ Fundraising on Monash Campus during 2011.

The club expects to make a huge impact in the year 2012, with social and fundraising activities being planned as we speak. It will begin its new-year activities during the Orientation week of Monash University in February.

We are all looking forward to the impact the Rotaract Club of Monash University (Caulfield) will have on the community.
